Nothing seemed to be going right and we continuously questioned whether we were in the perfect will of God.. not just the permissible will.

But holding fast to our confessions and faith in God, he made a way.

The watchmen prayer programme has had an influence on my relationship with God. I feel like my faith and trust in God’s provision has also increased. God has helped me with new ideas. Especially about where and how to relocate the salon now that I need the room for a nursery. 

I definitely got more work and new clients since the start of this programme. I have been getting some new clients and then also some old clients have come back.  I have gone from having a day or two off a week to working everyday. So that’s wonderful. God has always protected me. And at times I get clear warning about not driving a certain route for example. Thus far the prayer program was useful and I would recommend this valuable service.

The watchmen prayer programme reminded me to keep praying as I witnessed others pray for me. I was really moved by the consistency in prayer from the intercessors at all times of the day. Immediately after the prayer programme began, we managed to secure a contract with Dainfern College where we provide school health and wellness services. This provided retainer fees per month.

We are also working on Occupational health services as well as Home based nursing care services as value added services for the business.

We also started a Christian counselling service for Mediwell clients facing various issues such as depression, anxiety, grief counselling, trauma counselling and more. We signed up a new tenant: Occupational therapists and speech therapists – which increases the bouquet of services available to our clients and augments our rental income. Our rental income, as well as our retainer incomes, also increased.

We have been in touch with potential investors in the business. We are still praying about the right investor. Through it all, our GOD kept us standing. GOD has really preserved us in our entirety. 

The programme was most definitely very useful – you cannot go wrong with being covered in fervent prayer. We know that the persistent fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much.  (James 5:16). We do not take for granted having watchmen that are called to provide spiritual covering for us.

My prayer is that we as a collective can become intentional about praying as colleagues within the business, and also to understand the importance of praying altogether as business owners and employees, to share the Word together and be committed to time in prayer together – in addition to the Watchmen intercessors.

I have received some supernatural favor and business connection with a new pharmaceutical company who has taken me on board for contract work. I’ve also connected with influential business people and increased my network. I believe God has protected us financially and by his grace we have not fallen into the debt trap. I also do want to share that with our baby on the way and the pregnancy we have incurred very high medical expenses which we could not have afforded if it weren’t for financial and business favor from the Lord.

I had a dream where a Lions gentle paw dug into some sand to reveal a snake which then was trying to come after me. There was a mosquito net type shield covering the door which kept the snake at bay. I believe this was a clear message surrounding attacks of the devil on myself, my business or the body of Christ in general. 

I feel the program is very useful and gives us business owners a sense of comfort knowing we are covered by a prayer shield. Of course I would recommend it to other Christians. Blessings to you and the intercessors for the continued prayers.

This has been a very helpful programme for me because I feel much closer to God and I’m much disciplined in waking up to pray. I also saw the hand of God in protecting my life from an accident and keeping me safe at work. I now believe there is more power in praying always and also doing midnight prayers. I was so encouraged by the testimonies that came through from the businesses we are praying for. My life will never be the same and my faith is unshakeable, for I have seen the faithfulness of God through this programme, it changed my life and I’m one confident person who knows when I pray God answers. This programme was very useful and will recommend it to other business people. Lastly I want to say thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has been praying and sacrificially putting their resources towards this programme, my life is never the same. I’m so much touched and I pray more blessings and God’s protection. I humbly believe that if it wasn’t for this programme I wouldn’t be where I am or maybe something bad could have happened to me, but I thank God for every prayer made and every seed that was planted in my life. I will be a fool if I don’t say this only changed my prayer life, it touched my life in many areas. I will continuously press more, pray more, believe more, push myself to be a better person and also continue to worship God with all I have. Amen!

The programme has deepened my relationship with God. Prayer has stirred a hunger to pray more, read the word more, spend time in God’s presence more and more time in reflection. A lot of fresh insight, new ideas & Godly wisdom came through. I think the hardest part was to learn that it doesn’t always happen now but one has to prepare for it through patience and endurance. Prayer is important and battles should be fought through prayer. I would normally address certain things with a person and would get so frustrated or hurt but now I pray. I learnt the importance of prayer before a decision and through prayer asking God to help me understand the topics for writing assignments and doing presentations. Prayer is essential to our relationship with God and also our life and health. To have faith became much easier. 

God’s protection & preservation were definitely evident all the time! I took my car to get checked as it has been making a rattling sound and I was worried. The mechanic checked my car and found that the power steering fluid was oil mixed with water and had a different colour. I then told the mechanic that when I took my car for a service last year October, that is how it looked. The previous mechanic just said that it’s a new steering wheel fluid and I believed him. However, a few times during the year I was asked why my oil is that colour and I told them what the mechanic said. I have been driving for almost a year with it like that. The current mechanic said I was very lucky. But I know it’s God.

The programme was definitely useful & would recommend it to others. It was not only useful for the businesses but for the intercessors as well. All is amazing.

Intercessor: Lerato (2018)

This prayer programme has had a huge impact on my personal relationship with God. I started becoming more and more sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Through this God gave me a better insight of my purpose and calling which I had been struggling with for 4 years. Things only started making a lot of sense in the past few months and God also opened a huge door for me recently. I believe that God increased/boosted my faith through this programme. Hearing all the testimonies from everyone was so encouraging. I would recommend this programme to other Christian businesses as I believe that prayer moves mountains and God wants to expand the footprint of Christian businesses not just in South Africa but all over Africa.
